Product Details:

Aftermarket stainless steel brake lines may look similar, but they are not the same! Every Galfer stainless steel line is made with only DuPont virgin grade PTFE inner core, 64 strand braid and our fittings are probably the most expensive, but highest quality you can find on the planet. These are the same fittings that Ferrari, Lamborghini, and Ducati uses, among a few other high end OEM’s. Our lines come with a lifetime warranty. Not because we make them at a low cost and can afford to easily ship out replacements, but because they are made extremely well. We also include all mounting components, extra washers, line end labeling, and bike specific installations, some with DVD’s. Depending on the application (ABS or non-ABS bikes), this line kit will seamlessly replace stock. R&D and manufacturing is here in the US, along with our customer accessible tech support team. Line color available includes clear, black, blue, green, gold, red, platinum, orange, yellow, white and smoke. Pre-positioned Banjo fittings available in black, silver, gold, red and blue. Race team tested and proven!

Rockin' Supercar: The Rebirth, Short Life, and Death of a Shark-Fin-Equipped '85 Toyota Tercel Wagon

Fri, 18 Apr 2014

Sometimes a very ordinary car becomes something special, maybe even loved, but that's not always enough to keep it out of the jaws of the crusher. This is the story of a second-gen Toyota Tercel wagon (known in Japan as the Sprinter Carib) and its journey from auction to lumber-hauler to kid transportation to a Chinese steel factory. Around the turn of the century, while I was working at a doomed dot-com in San Francisco's South of Market neighborhood, I discovered that the city auctioned off all the unclaimed tow-away cars every week at nearby Pier 70.

Saab enters Court Protection – just as we predicted

Wed, 07 Sep 2011

Victor Muller takes Saab in to Court Protection Two weeks ago we reported that Saab were about to seek court protection from its creditors in a bid to buy time until investment from China arrives. And that’s exactly what’s happening. Saab are waiting for investment funding from China – via Pang Da and Youngman – totalling €245 million which should put Saab back on a solvent footing – at least for a while – and allow the beleaguered Swedish car maker to resume production and push on with future plans.

Hyundai Veloster Midship concept shows what the Veloster could be

Sun, 01 Jun 2014

The Hyundai Veloster Midship at the Busan Motor Show The Hyundai Veloster is actually a perfectly capable – if slightly quirky - sports car, which promises much but doesn’t actually deliver in terms of performance. In fact, when we  reviewed the Hyundai Veloster a couple of years ago with its 1.6 litre petrol engine, we wondered if Hyundai would have been better giving the Veloster a diesel lump instead, which would at least have made its paucity of power less of a problem with more torque to play with. And the Veloster Turbo isn’t a huge amount better, only offering 184 bhp and taking 8.4 seconds to get to 62mph; figures we would have expected from the base Veloster if it were to be a properly credible competitor in the sector.
