PMAS HPX-A Maf sensor.
Sensor will support over 700HP when installed in a 95mm housing.
This sensor has slightly less range than the original HPX. It's great for draw-thru applications and modified vehicles that have pegged the stock maf but don't quite need to step up to the range of the HPX.
The HPX-A will support the following horsepower
3" housing 465 WHP
3.5" housing 630 WHP
80mm or stock 05GT airbox 510 WHP
85mm housing 575 WHP
95mm housing 730 WHP
100mm housing 800 WHP
Updated sensor curve has been engineered to maintain perfect idle resolution even when used on vehicles making under 300HP.
This sensor can be used in any housing from 2" to over 5". It can also be used for blow-thru or draw-through configurations.

BMW/Exa-sponsored project at ACCD
Wed, 13 Aug 2008Art Center's BMW/Exa 7th term sponsored project, which we first reported on back in mid-February, recently had its final presentation at the conclusion of the Spring 2008 term. You'll recall the project tasked the students with redesigning a future X5 Sports Activity Vehicle with the express mandate improving its aerodynamic efficiency by at least 30 percent. To achieve this lofty goal, the co-sponsor on the project, Exa Corporation was going to provide both their engineering software PowerFLOW and their technical know-how to virtually test the students' Alias StudioTools design models and provide them with real world aerodynamic feedback.

Aimed at compact SUVs like the BMW X3 and Audi Q5, the production version of the Lexus NX may have been toned down somewhat from the LF-NX Concept, but it’s still a bold design and keeps a degree of the angularity of the concept; it’ll stand out in the sector – no bad thing. As you’d expect, the big, bold Lexus grill makes its presence felt, with slim LED headlights, big wheelarches, statement alloys (17″ or 18″), sculpted bonnet, sharp creases on the flanks and a back end that’s as angular as the front.
Dodge Durango Special Service police vehicle released, orders now open
Mon, 19 Mar 2012Dodge has added another vehicle to the list of cars drivers should keep an eye out for if they're speeding, the Dodge Durango Special Service. Available for police, fire and “general fleet” customers, the Chrysler Group said it would begin taking orders now, with delivery expected in the second quarter of this year. “We're incredibly excited to add the Dodge Durango Special Service to our lineup of law-enforcement vehicles,” Peter Grady, Chrysler Group vice president of network development and fleet operations, said in a release.
