Here's an excellent used part # 3280250 tachometer from a 1997 XC600. This is what Polaris refers to as the 5" tach and it fits into a 4 7/16" hole. It is a 6 pulse tach and will work on most triples and several twins from 96-2002. Check your part number to ensure it will work on your machine before you buy it. Location: FS-2-2 approximate packaged 22x20x16 cm 0.600 kg Shipping time within Canada is usually about a week or slightly longer. Shipping to the USA is generally around 11-21 days. 2012 Volvo S60 & XC60 R-Design get more oomph
Thu, 21 Apr 2011Volvo V60 R-Design - finally, more get up and go We’re quite partial to the Volvo S60 (actually, we’re even more partial to the Volvo V60) and we like how Volvo’s R-Design pack makes a real impact without making the car look like a boy racer’s wet dream. What’s also nice – in this age of parsimony – is that even if you opt for a lowly diesel version you can still have a Volvo that looks like it gets there in a hurry, even if it doesn’t. But our preference is always for a bit more power, especially if all the visual cues make you smile in anticipation, so we have been know to bemoan the lack of any sort of power boost – even as an add-on option – on Volvo’s R-Design cars.
General Motors designs windshield to see what the eye might miss
Wed, 17 Mar 2010General Motors is developing a windshield display system designed to outline the edges of roads in fog and highlight a deer before it crosses into traffic. The system works by collecting information through vehicle sensors and cameras and projecting laser-generated images onto the windshield. It can also highlight road signs and tell drivers when construction is coming or when a desired exit is approaching.
