Item Description:.....POLARIS OEM PART Protection and performance are among the benefits delivered by these Extreme Kick-Out Steel RZR® Rock Sliders for your RZR® XP 1000. These durable steel 1 ¾” steel tubes provide outstanding protection for your Polaris® side-by-side and their design enhances your RZR®’s off-road performance. The design retains the full stock ground clearance as the Rock Sliders don’t extend below the bottom of the RZR®, and they are kicked out 5” to enable you to maintain momentum and while cornering around off-road obstacles. These rock sliders act as a buffer between the RZR® and protect the side and rear wheels from obstacles you may encounter on the trail. These durable steel tubes mount on the rocker panels of your Polaris® side-by-side quickly and easily, and they protect the RZR® against impact with rocks and other off-road obstacles. These RZR® Rock Sliders feature integrated styling to compliment the look of the RZR® XP 1000, and a durable black wrinkle finish like that of the vehicle’s framework.

The Detroit Autorama was marred last weekend by a leaky roof that spilled salty, rusty water onto several custom cars. The leaks were caused by a combination of heavy precipitation--Detroit has had one of the snowiest winters in recent memory that gave way to an early March rainstorm--which pummeled an aging roof. Water fell to the show floor in six spots, temporarily damaging seven or eight cars.

This weekend’s edition of Top Gear is the usual mix of daftness and octane, but the big news – after making overtures since the start of new Top Gear to make it happen – is the appearance of Rowan Atkinson as a Star in a Reasonably Priced Car. Rowan is not just a major petrolhead, but majorly publicity shy. Which you would think is an oxymoron for a professional entertainer, but it seems Rowan is much more comfortable occupying the skin of a character he’s created than his own, particularly in public.

The German Porsche tuning haus TechArt revealed a power-upgrade kit for the Porsche Panamera diesel. While the 30-hp bump from the stock 250 horses to 280 won't light the world on fire, the 37-lb-ft jump in torque, from 405 lb-ft to 442 lb-ft, is sure to be a kick in the pants. The 0-to-60-mph time drops by 0.1 second from stock to 6.6 seconds, but the top end is up 3 mph to 153 mph.
