Handcrafted and Made in the USA - Double Stitched to Ensure a Precise Fit - Includes Hard Windshield, Doors, Rear Window and Top - Made of Commercial Grade Marine Textile that is Waterproof, Puncture Resistant, Tear Resistant and Abrasion Resistant

We only use commercial grade material. A Tinted Aquaview vinyl, marine textile polyester, and self-adhesive velcro gives you a custom fit that only Pacific Tundra can provide.

 

Custom Hard Windshield is 1/4" thick and constructed of Lexan Polycarbonate which is nearly bulletproof.

 

The windshield attaches using rust-free stainless steel implements.

 

Best of all, unlike our competitors, our Cab Enclosure products do not require body modifications; this enables you to use and remove our Cab Enclosure products without hurting the value or function of your UTV.

Plea for 'no drink if driving' this summer

AN APPEAL has been made to drivers in the UK not to touch a drop of alcohol if they are going to drive. The call comes as data from the Association of Chief Police Officers (ACPO) shows that one in fifteen drivers breath-tested were over the legal limit. Road safety charity Brake has made the plea after figures released by ACPO shows that its national anti-drink-drive campaign in June carried out 63,688 breath tests and 4108 proved positive for excess alcohol or refused a breath test.

Wired has just published a series of short articles entitled 13 Lessons for Design's New Golden Age. While there are some interesting examples cited in the piece, the concluding article, ‘Why Getting It Wrong Is the Future of Design' by the former creative director of Wired magazine, Scott Dadich, feels like it has particular resonance for car design. Dadich's Wrong Theory uses disruptive examples from the world of art, plus his own experience of working at Wired, to explain how design goes through phases: establishing a direction, creating a set of rules that define that direction and finally someone who dares to break from that direction.

The Toyota Prius Plug-in Hybrid will show at Frankfurt The principle difference between the standard Prius and this new plug-in version is – you’ll never guess – that it adds the ability to charge the Prius’ batteries through a domestic outlet. The Prius can be fully recharged in around 1.5 hours, and the new lithium-ion battery pack – which replaces the old nickel-metal hydride pack in the regular Prius – is more compact and of higher output. Toyota claim that the plug-in Prius can cover round 12.5 miles on a full charge in pure ‘Electric Mode’, which is around double that of the normal Prius.
