2.5 L race motor with 35 hours 7R mag. case (shuffle pinned), twin plug, crank-fire ignition, Carrillo con. rods, Mahle pistons/cylinders, 10.3:1 CR and counter balanced crank   The motor needs: carbs, exhaust, ignition (Electromotive) and alternator/fan. The engine last ran 1 1/2 years ago with no problems. Approximate horsepower is 220-240 at the flywheel. The motor was built by one of Franz Blam in Atlanta. Shipping is the responsibility of the purchaser. This item is listed locally as well. The seller reserves the right to sell and remove from auction. The video might be called ‘BMW M is preparing something new’, but the engine isn’t really a fresh design. It’s actually a tweaked, twin-turbo version of the 435i’s 3.0-litre straight-six, making this the first M Division 3-series derivative to use forced induction.

Of all the companies producing cars today, BWM has embraced run-flat technology like no other. In about seven weeks, roughly 500 cars from Lambrecht Chevrolet in Pierce, Neb., will go across the auction block. And pre-bidding has already started on this massive time-capsule collection, accumulated over the course of many decades by Ray and Mildred Lambrecht, a husband and wife team who ran the dealership for more than 50 years. Autoweek will be in Pierce, Neb., to cover the sale in late September and to preserve a sample of the dust on the dealership floor for scientific study.
