You are buying a very nice, fully refurbished set of early 2.0 911 cylinder heads with its original 39mm intake valves, 35mm sodium filled exhaust valves, retaining its original 32mm/32mm ports. These cylinder heads have been refurbished with new guides and Wrightwood Racing Teflon valve stem seals and have been refaced by 0.25mm (0.010 in) for a perfect seal to the cylinders. Ether run them as they are for a slightly improved compression or use the factory thicker cylinder base shims to make up for the 0.25mm they have been shaved. These are all 1966 cylinder heads with 4 @1-66 and 2 @2-66 date-stamps, all genuine early R901.104.303.04 castings. All studs/ hardware have been re-plated with Zinc-yellow Trivalent Chromate or replaced as needed as shown in the photos. Please check out the photos closely. These are very decent heads with minimum pitting in the combustion chambers and the ports look very good.

Porsche part number for each head is 901.104.003.05

These are correct for any 911 from 1964 to 1967. They will not fit a 67 or 68 911S (had larger valves and ports) and do not have the air injection ports for a 68 US 911L.

Please check out the photos! It is harder and harder to find heads that are not all pitted in the combustion chamber and these are very decent heads.

Hyundai i20 to go WRC Rallying

Thu, 27 Sep 2012

Hyundai has confirmed it’s going rallying with an i20 heading for the WRC sporting around 300bhp and 4WD. Hyundai has announced that it is going to compete in the FIA World Rally Championships with a car based on the three-door i20. Hyundai hasn’t been rallying since it withdrew from motorsport in 2003, but the arrival of more convincing models – and growing sporty pretensions in the Hyundai range – make a rally glow a sensible move for the Korean firm.

The McLaren P11 will be the first of McLaren Automotive's new cars in 2011 The whole road car business at McLaren is to be made an independent company – McLaren Automotive – and is aiming to produce 1,000 cars a year by 2011 and 4,000 a year by 2015.
