You are buying a refurbished set of cylinder heads for a 1970/1971 911T carbureted model, most came with Zenith carburetors.

These are the heads to use when you increase your 2.0 liter engine to 2.2 or 2.4 liter by changing to 84mm cylinders, these have the correct cylinder interface for 2.2 and 2.4 liter cylinders and can also be used for 2.5 liter 85mm cylinders. These are an excellent upgrade as the combustion chambers are shallower for less detonation sensitivity and they of course feature the much larger 46/40 mm valves as compared to 2.0 liter cylinder heads for gobs of power. (early 2.0 engines had 39/35mm valves, 67 & 68 911S and 69 911E engines had 42/38mm valves, and 69 911S and 911R had 45/39mm valves, so these are bigger valves than a 69 911S or 68 911R had.)

These heads retain the correct 32/32 Intake/Exhaust ports. They of course feature the correct 46mm intake valves and 40mm sodium filled exhaust valves, all new as shown in the photos. All valves are new. New genuine valve stem seals have been installed. The heads have been decked for a perfect seal with the cylinders.  Please check out the photos closely. These are exceptionally nice heads with practically no pitting in the combustion chambers and the ports look awesome, extremely hard to find.

Porsche part number for each head is 901.104.006.01.

Please check out the photos! It is harder and harder to find heads that are not all pitted in the combustion chambers and these are fantastic heads.

The LRX will be shown at the Detroit Motor Show in January 2008 and presages a new, compact Land Rover due on sale in the next decade. Think shrunken Freelander coupe and you’ve got the LRX in a nutshell.
