This auction is for one used original Porsche 911 shifter and shift boot in good condition. The chrome shifter has minimal pitting and no scratching. The finish on
the base is also in nice condition with only minor wear and no rust. The shift boot is in good condition with one minor tear towards the top that does not go all the way through. The shift knob is the later push-on style; it is correct for 1968-1971 Porsche 911, but will also work with 1965-1967 911s. This item is being auctioned by Specialty Cars. Wales considers car smoking ban

Drivers caught with a cigarette in hand at the wheel while youngsters are strapped up in the back could face an on-the-spot fine. The move aims to protect youngsters from harm caused by second hand smoke, a Welsh government spokesman said.
