The revolutionary 997 Turbo IPD “Y” Pipe was built for the more demanding Turbo performance customer. This is not a cast reproduction of the factory Y pipe but a complete re-design from scratch, developed to deliver even greater air flow for both stock AND highly modified Turbos.

The factory Y pipe becomes restrictive when adding substantial power gains. The IPD “Y” Pipe has larger inlets and an optimized diversion area allowing for even greater power gains. This superior and more efficient design flows 126 more cfm than the factory Y pipe delivering the additional power needed to raise the performance bar on any Turbo.

Bigger isn’t always better, and the IPD “Y” Pipe is designed to deliver optimum flow without being too large causing a loss in boost response.  These “Y” Pipes can also be special ordered in custom powder coated colors and ceramic coatings or polished to improve the aesthetic appeal of your Turbo engine.

The IPD 997 Turbo Y Pipe is designed to be a direct replacement of the factory OEM Y Pipe. There are no modifications or fabrication required for installing the IPD Y Pipe. This is an easy and straight forward R & R (remove and reinstall) bolt on upgrade.

Aston Martin recalls 75 percent of all cars built since 2007

Wed, 05 Feb 2014

If you own a left-hand drive Aston Martin -- any left-hand drive Aston Martin -- built since November 2007, listen up: your car has just been recalled. Smug right-hand drive Aston Martin owners can rest easy, unless their car was built after May 2012; those cars are gonna need replacement parts, too. All in all, the recall impacts 17,590 cars, or roughly 75 percent of the automaker's run from the 2008 model year on, according to Reuters.

Mercedes-Benz unveiled a three-door concept version of its 2012 A-class at the New York and Shanghai auto shows in April, and images of a possible production model leaked this week via the European Patent Office. The renderings show a five-door hatchback version of the A-class concept with less aggressive styling. Its world premiere is said to be scheduled for the Frankfurt motor show in September.

Brabus takes on Mercedes GL63 with Widestar kit

Mon, 03 Jun 2013

Brabus added the Mercedes GL63 AMG to its Widestar lineup on Monday. In addition to the wild body kit, Brabus adds 70 hp to the mix and a handful of twist at the wheels to create the B63-620 Widestar. The visual upgrades begin with the fender flares that add 3 inches to the width of the already-big SUV.
