Up for auction is a powder coated valve cover from a sr20det rwd s13 engine. The cover is missing its T fitting, so you will need to reuse your old one. Perfect way to spruce up the engine bay of your swapped 240sx! Please check with your own engine type before purchasing to confirm fitment. The valve cover will be powder coated a color of your choice that I stock. Other colors can be ordered for a small fee. If you send me your stock cover back in undamaged condition i will be happy to buy it back from you for a fair price! All products powder coated by us are hot tanked to remove thick built up grease normally found in valve covers. This is important step as it removes residue that causes blasting media to get stuck in the baffles and your engine. If you have ANY questions, we can be reached at (973)208-6814, M-F 9am-7pm EST.

Some examples of colors i have in stock are mirror black, mirror blue, mirror red, mirror yellow, mirror orange, mirror white, wrinkle black, dark wrinkle blue, light wrinkle blue, wrinkle red, dormant cherry red, light dormant anodized blue, candy red, candy blue, candy green, candy lime green, dormant granny smith green, dormant dark blue sparkle, dormant burnt orange red, dormant candy purple, dormant candy orange, metallic silver, gunmetal grey metallic, metallic green, black chrome, gold metallic, galvanized aluminum, flat black, semi gloss satin black, neon green, neon pink, pearl white, silver flake clear, and much much more! PLEASE email me for pics of various colors or with request for other colors not listed. I have tons of colors, to many to list. Other colors can be ordered for a small fee.

I will buy your old stock valve cover back at a fair price but it MUST be free from ANY modification, cracks, relativly deep gashes, broken spark plug cover holes, broken tabs, broken off bolts, broken oil baffles etc. IT MUST ALSO BE THE SAME STYLE COVER THAT I SEND YOU. If you are unsure if your core is usable or suitable, PLEASE EMAIL ME AND ASK FIRST.

New Jersey residents must pay 7% sales tax on their orders. Kia Pop concept (w/ Gallery)

Wed, 18 Aug 2010

The Kia Pop will make its world debut at the Paris motor show, but the Korean manufacturer has released these digital renders of the electric city car concept in advance. At three meters long, the Pop is similar in length to the Toyota iQ. It features a wave-like front bench seat making room for a single rear occupant behind the front passenger. Designed by a team headed by Gregory Guillaume at Kia's European design center in Frankfurt under Peter Schreyer, the Pop mixes the Sportage's strong surfacing with a playful lozenge-shaped DLO.

Videos: Chris Bangle shares his views on design and the future of car design

Wed, 26 Oct 2011

Chris Bangle is a man that needs no introduction on these pages. Both revered and castigated, Bangle's work has undoubtedly been influential for a generation of designers. His unconventional practices – employed at a time when design was still largely segregated from other departments during the development process – yielded many avantgarde and contentious designs, but Bangle's fundamental understanding of the design process, creative vision and desire for change can never be cast in doubt. While Bangle shares his views on the future of the car in the video to the right, the video to the left provides an insight into the former BMW design chief's thought processes and gives us a glimpse into his home and studio in the Piedmont region of northern Italy.

Test your car's audio quality with iTunes playlist

Mon, 27 Sep 2010

General Motors audio engineer Matt Kirsch, who did the sound work for the Chevrolet Cruze, has developed an iTunes playlist that helps drivers test their cars' audio quality. The “10 Songs for an Audio ‘Test Drive'” playlist includes: “Don't Know Why” by Norah Jones “Diamonds and Rust” by Joan Baez “No One” by Alicia Keys “Hotel California” by the Eagles “Boom Boom Pow” by the Black Eyed Peas “Rock That Body” by the Black Eyed Peas “Hide and Seek” by Imogen Heap “He Mele No Lilo” by Mark Keali'i Ho'omalu (from Lilo & Stitch) “Bird on a Wire” by Johnny Cash “Packt Like Sardines in a Crushd Tin Box” by Radiohead While “Boom Boom Pow” and “Rock That Body” should have accurate and powerful bass beats, “No One” and “Bird on a Wire” should feature clarity in the vocals. Kirsch's playlist is available for download at http://tiny.cc/c2ach.
