Power Head from a 3.5 HP Sea King Montgomery Ward Model XTV 50535, Serial Number 1616127 Type No. K350 6106A.  This serial number equates to a 1980 outboard manufactured by Clinton Engines Corporation, Maquoketa, Iowa as Model K350.   This is a single cylinder air cooled engine with water cooled exhaust housing.   This Clinton manufactured outboard may have been marketed under other than the Montgomery Ward Brand, so these parts may fit other name brands and model years as well.  View photos to better see the nice condition of this part.

The Power Head is in overall good to very good used condition with no broken or cracked parts but with cosmetic scratches, scuffs and paint peeling.   One of the side heat shields is stamped:  7PK-350-6000-SER 34816.  Before disassembly, the crank shaft rotated smoothly and appeared to have good compression.   I removed the cylinder head and intake manifold for further inspection of the power head.   The cylinder wall and visible portion of the piston are in very good condition.   I would consider the power head to be usable as is without honing or machining.  The Cylinder Head and Intake Manifold are being listed separately and ARE NOT part of this listing.

Poor old Volvo appears to have been hawked around the world’s car makers in the hope of finding a fit for the pride of Sweden.
