This auction is for a pair of used Panhead 'D' rings.  The first one pictured is pretty nice, with just a few nicks.  The second one pictured is not so nice.  Lots of pits and it's cracked, shown in the last photo on the right hand side.  I don't now if that one is usable or not, so I'm including that one for free, or I can just leave it out and save a little on postage; just let me know.  Please e-mail me if you have any questions, and thanks for looking.

Mazda Motor Corp. has given a new lease on life to its rotary engine in the form of a Mazda 2 hatchback reconfigured as an extended-range hybrid. The prototype runs as an electric vehicle, with an electric motor powering the wheels.

It's official: There's no mid-engine Chevrolet Corvette on the horizon. That's the word from General Motors' top global engineer. As for a Corvette with a hybrid powertrain, that remains a possibility.

The last Horch built, found in the middle of Texas It’s been looking likely for a while that now VW has taken control of Porsche it may decide to rebrand the VW Group as Auto Union. Auto Union was the root of Audi, and was formed in the ’30s when Audi, Horch, DKW and Wanderer joined forces to become Auto Union and pool their resources to cope with the depression (sound familiar?). Which might explain why Audi has been scouring the planet for rare cars from its Auto Union days.
