Balanced set of nine Pratt and Whitney R-1340 pistons with rings.  These pistons are as new. Run less than one hour on test cell. 


Rings are a tailored fit set for chrome cylinders. Engine developed cylinder leak on test cell and cylinder was removed. It was discovered that these pistons were fitted with the standard type rings.

Work order stated that this engine should have been assembled with Keystone wedge type pistons and rings. All cylinders were removed, pistons removed and wedge type pistons were installed in the engine. These pistons have no wear, no problems, no defects. No disappointments. 

After removal these pistons were rinsed in solvent, sprayed down with corrosion x and put back in boxes. Please call 817-319-5767 if you have any questions.

Clearly set to employ the sharp-creased design and huge ‘spindle grille’ cues from the current Lexus range – not to mention the LF-LC coupe concept – Lexus is nevertheless staying tight-lipped on details of its new model. We’ll see the car revealed completely in early September.
