This auction is for a Precision Race Components PRC Double Valve Spring Kit, this double spring kit is good up to .650" lift. When upgrading the camshaft in your LS engine you will need to upgrade the valve springs as well.

The all new PRC .650" spring kit is the newly updated replacement to the old "gold, Platinum or xtreme" valve spring that has been around for years & years.  The increasingly more aggressive lobes that companies are putting in LS engines was starting to compromise the long term dependability of these older valve spring designs.  In testing we were seeing severe spring pressure and height losses with some lobe designs.  Even though many companies still sell these old spring designs, it was extremely obvious that PRC needed to completely redesign their flagship valve spring.  The result is the all-new PRC .650" double spring kit that offers over 2 times the life of the "gold, platinum or xtreme" valve springs & resists pressure drops after large numbers of cycles.  By using the best possible materials and carefully tuning both the inner and outer springs frequencies, PRC has made a valve spring that is more stable at resisting harmful harmonics that can lead to failures.

Kit includes: Spring Seats, Valve Seals, Dual Springs, and Titanium Retainers (utilizes GM factory valve stem locks, not included)

Specs:

Install Height:   1.800"
Closed Spring Pressure: 145lbs @ 1.800"
Open Spring Pressure:  450lbs @ 1.150"
Maximum Spring Lift: .650"
Coil Bind 1.080"
Spring Rate: 469lbs/in
