Pagani Zonda Revolucion (2013) first pictures of ultimate 790bhp Zonda

Tue, 04 Jun 2013

Is the new Pagani Zonda Revolucion the Nurburgring lap-record holder in waiting? The Zonda Revolucion (Revolution in Spanish) is a fettled version of the track-only Zonda R, boasting more power and F1-derived brake and aerodynamic know-how. It should easily be able to eclipse the Zonda R's record-breaking 6min 47sec Nürburgring lap time, but you’ll need fast money, too. Available to order now, the five Revolucions being produced will set you back an eye-watering €2.2m (£1.8m) each – plus taxes – and you still can't drive it on the road… For £1.8million, the Pagani Zonda Revolucion had better be packing some serious punch… Worry not: the mid-mounted 6.0-litre AMG V12 (normally aspirated still, rather than twin-turbocharged like the new Pagani Huayra in CAR's video review below) develops 789bhp – a 50bhp increase on the 2009 Zonda R's output.

Fiat Panda Aria and Grande Punto Abarth SS concepts

Mon, 17 Sep 2007

By Guy Bird Motor Shows 17 September 2007 02:50 Aria goes green, Abarth gets sporty, 500 goes large… Fiat’s signature white stand featured both ends of the car spectrum: From the eco Panda Aria concept to a new even sportier version of the Grande Punto, the Abarth SS prototype. It arguably had the best show stand gimmick at Frankfurt too – a giant Fiat 500 model the size of a two-storey building housing a monorail on which punters could ride life-size 500 cars around its innards – entered through the giant 500’s wheel arch. Anyway… what about this eco Panda thingy… Oh yes, the Fiat Aria ‘concept’ is subtle like that.

Aston Martin configurator for the Cygnet and the Virage hits the Web

Mon, 16 May 2011

The few times a year that Aston Martin graces AutoWeek with a press car, our joy is short-lived. There's never enough seat time to go around. Luckily, we can all dream together with the new Aston Martin configurator at the company's Web site, www.astonmartin.com.
