VW sells 5 million cars in China

VW has hit 5 million car sales in China But some car makers saw the future long before the rest. Volkswagen has been making cars in China for 25 years in collaboration with Chinese partner SAIC. And 25 years ago China was a very different place to the country it is now, so it was a brave move and a big risk for VW at the time.

Overfinch has added their traditional three cooling apertures in the front bumper – complete with lacquered carbon fibre treatment – and the new back bumper, side skirts and roof spoiler are all made from carbon fibre too, perfectly in tune with the new Range Rover’s lighter ethos, and there’s a set of cast tailpipes by Overfinch at the back.

What looks like a screen grab from Sin City is in fact our first official glimpse of the new Jaguar crossover. The jacked-up, coupe-like CX-17 is one of two new models on the way from Gaydon, the other being the ‘X760’-codenamed 3-series rivalling sports saloon.
