Porsche Panamera explained in greater detail
Mon, 16 Mar 2009Porsche has revealed previously undisclosed details of its new Panamera ahead of a planned public debut at next month's Shanghai motor show. On sale in North America on Oct. 17, the first-ever Porsche sedan will cost more than the BMW M5 and the Mercedes-Benz CLS63 AMG, with prices starting at $89,800 for the base rear-wheel-drive Panamera S and rising to $93,800 for the four-wheel-drive Panamera 4S.

Wed, 15 Sep 2010Porsche 911 Carrera GTS The news that the Porsche 911 Carrera GTS will be making an appearance at the Paris Motor Show before arriving in showrooms by December should be followed soon by an announcement that there is to be a Limited Edition run of a 911 Speedster. But one step at a time. As we reported in June, the Porsche 911 Carrera GTS is a wide-bodied (44mm wider at the back) 911 which will be the most powerful ‘regular’ model in the 911 range.
Third annual World Automotive Design Competition
Wed, 10 Mar 2004The third annual World Automotive Design Competition, sponsored by Alias, was hosted by the Canadian International Auto Show in Toronto, Ontario, on February 12. Britain's Coventry School of Art and Design, and Tsinghua University in Beijing, China were the big winners, together garnering seven of the eight prizes. Ninety-four students from twenty design schools from China, Brazil, Japan, France, Korea, England, Wales, Italy, Spain, India, Sweden, the USA and Canada competed to win over US$140,000 in prizes.
