This power is made through a combination of CAN Bus fueling, Direct VP44 fueling control, injection timing and boost control. The Adrenaline uses extremely advanced 4 axis tuning maps to insure you have power on demand. Monitoring RPM, Throttle Position, Boost, and Load % all at the same time allows us to provide the smoothest, yet most aggressive, fueling curves found anywhere. This allows the user to turn the truck off and remove the key from the ignition while keeping the truck running. The TurboGuard can be set for time or can be EGT based. Quadzilla also offers PowerIdle feature. This high idle is simply a smart feature that knows when to raise the idle to allow for consistent engine temperature and proper engine lubrication during extended idle periods. This is also a handy feature for those cold mornings when you need your truck to warm up quickly and maintain engine temperature while at idle, or those that demand extra electrical power to run accessories. Mercedes planning more Coupe SUVs to add to the BMW X6 challenging MLC
Wed, 30 Apr 2014The Mercedes Concept Coupe SUV (pictured) looks to be just the first in a range of Coupe SUVs No one can be in any doubt that the Mercedes Concept Coupe SUV we saw revealed at the Beijing Motor Show earlier this month will turn in to a ‘coupe’ version of the ML, probably as the Mercedes MLC. What’s also clear is that the MLC is designed to steal a chunk of the market BMW has created for big, lifestyle, coupe SUVs with the X6; take away the Mercedes badge and the Concept Coupe SUV could preview the next generation X6. But with BMW taking their X6 formula and applying it to the X3 – creating the X6 on a boil-wash X4 – Mercedes aren’t going to sit back and let BMW create another lifestyle coupe SUV without responding.
BMW 2 Series Active Tourer gets (slightly inappropriate) M Sport Package
Fri, 28 Mar 2014The BMW 2 Series active Tourer moves to the butch side with an M Sport Package Purists moan, but the BMW 2 Series Active Tourer MPV is a sensible move by BMW and aimed at BMW lovers who need a BMW equivalent to the Mercedes B Class; a premium family car for shifting kids and stuff around. Using the same platform as the all new MINI, the 2 Series Active Tourer is BMW’s first front wheel drive car, although a 225i Active Tourer will go on sale in November complete with BMW’s 4WD xDrive. But the 2 Series Active Tourer wouldn’t be a BMW offering unless it also came with the option of an M Sport Pack, which is exactly what will be on offer – however unsuited the Active Tourer may seem for such sporty embellishments – when the xDrive Active Tourer arrives in November (although the M Sport Pack will be offered across the whole Active Tourer range).
