QUICK-NUT wheel chock tie down mounting system

QUICK-NUTS-LONG allow the motorcycle chock to be removed in seconds from the top of the vehicle by removing a 3/8" threaded screw. These are highly recommended for mounting the Baxley Sport Motorcycle Wheel Chocks. These quick-nuts eliminate the need to crawl under your pick-up truck or trailer to remove the wheel chock or other accessories. The base of the quick nut stays in the floor of your trailer or pick-up truck. Simply drill a 5/8" hole in the truck or trailer to mount the stainless steel quick-nut base. Ford C-Max Energi plug-in hybrid gets 108 MPGe

Ford Motor Company announced that its C-Max Energi plug-in hybrid achieves an EPA-certified 108 miles-per-gallon-equivalent (MPGe) city and 100 MPGe combined. The rating makes the C-Max Energi the most efficient plug-in hybrid by MPG-e according to the listings on the Environmental Protection Agency Web site. The only vehicles to rank higher were the all-electric 2012 Mitsubishi i-MiEV with a combined MPGe of 112, and the 2012 Ford Focus EV with 110 MPGe.

Toyota adds i-Road to urban mobility trials

TOYOTA has added its futuristic i-Road concept to its “Ha:mo” urban transport trials. It is the latest vehicle to be added to the rapidly expanding scheme, which is being held at the so-called Toyota City; Toyota’s huge presence in Japan’s Aichi Prefecture. The Ha:mo (Harmonious Mobility network) trials are an attempt to develop a sophisticated, integrated transport system for cities, making use of electric vehicles wherever possible but with the key emphasis on encouraging travellers to use the ‘most appropriate’ means of transport at all times.
