NEW Ram 423 competition pressure plate, 10.5" Borg & Beck style. RAM's Borg & Beck clutches are used in applications where high RPM is a consideration. All RAM units are assembled using explosion resistant pressure rings, heavy duty levers and hardware, chrome vanadium springs,and new covers. This type of clutch will increase the pedal effort in order to achieve the extra holding power, and may require strengthening of your clutch linkage components for proper operation. This pressure plate uses a ductile iron pressure ring, and has 3200 lbs of static pressure. The bolt circle is 11-5/8". Vauxhall launches powerful 1.0 petrol engine

OLD-FASHIONED 1.6-litre petrol engines in Vauxhall cars are about to be replaced by a clever new 1.0-litre alternative. The tiny newcomer has only three cylinders, but thanks to a turbocharger it coughs up more power and torque than many normal 1.6-litre equivalents. It’s set to debut in Vauxhall’s funky Adam supermini, although the new engine will be display-only when it emerges at the Geneva Motor Show next month.
