Patina, according to Webster, is "a surface appearance of something grown beautiful especially with age or use" And here are two fine examples of that definition, a beautifully-ugly fender mirror pair, perfect for that Rat Rod or other vehicle proudly showing its faded glory. There mirrors are from the late 50s and screw on to a fender or hood with a couple metal screws. All hardware moves freely in these mirrors, so the base can rock about 45 degrees to each side, and can be flipped front/back around to accommodate almost any mounting surface. Toyota and GM recall nearly 1.3 million vehicles over airbag issues
Fri, 11 Apr 2014Toyota is recalling certain RAV4, Yaris, Highlander, Tacoma, Corolla, and Matrix models in the U.S. market, part of a larger global recall campaign, for an issue that could prevent the airbag from deploying in the event of an accident. General Motors is recalling Pontiac Vibe vehicles for the same problem; the Vibe is mechanically similar to the Matrix because the two shared a platform and were built at the same plant.
