Nissan design chief Shiro Nakamura meets Jay Leno, talks about new 240Z
Thu, 04 Oct 2012Nissan Design's Chief Creative Officer Shiro Nakamura met talk-show host Jay Leno in the latest of the ‘Jay Leno's Garage' YouTube series, chatting candidly about the possibility of a new 240Z within the next two years. Next year will be the 80th anniversary of Nissan and the new model would be a celebration of the occasion, taking the spirit of the 240Z while refreshing the original design and shape into what Nakamura hopes will be an exciting new product. Ferrari apologizes for employee filmed doing donuts in China
Thu, 10 May 2012Ferrari issued an apology on Wednesday after one of its employees was filmed doing donuts in a 458 Italia 20th Anniversary Special Edition on the 600-year-old Ming Dynasty wall in the city of Nanjing. The online community has been up in arms, with users of Wiebo, China's version of Twitter, being allowed to complain the loudest. Much of the anger was directed at the Chinese government, which rented the wall for the occasion at a cost of $12,000.
