READYLIFT 2.5" LEVELING KIT

2011-2012 DODGE RAM 1500 4WD

PART # 66-1020

Leveling a new 2011-2012 Dodge Ram 4WD is an excellent way to achieve that "Ram Tough" look. ReadyLift® leveling kits are the fastest, safest, least expensive way to bring the front of your vehicle level with the rear. Our innovative Smart Strut Technology mounts on top of the strut, unlike urethane spacer kits that compress the spring and deteriorate over time. In order to prevent premature CV joint wear or damage, ReadyLift® includes custom bump stop brackets to limit downward suspension travel.

The new 2011-2012 Dodge Ram 1500 4wd kit includes two top mount steel strut extensions that give a fixed lift of 2.5’’ which on this new year model is the size requirement to achieve a level stance. This allows you to run 35” wheels and tires. For information about tire and wheel sizes please visit the ReadyLift
Tire Sizing and Calculator Page . ReadyLift® strut extension will maintain a smooth OEM ride without adding pressure to stock suspension components, guaranteed!

Installation is simple and requires no strut preloading, cutting, or modification of factory installed parts. While other kits cost thousands to buy and hours to install, ReadyLift® can be installed one to two hours and costs less than the price of a single custom wheel.

ReadyLift Lifetime Warranty Included! All ReadyLift® products are backed by a lifetime warranty for as long as you own your vehicle and includes all necessary parts, hardware, detailed installation instructions, and two color decals.

    Notes:
    • 66-1020 - ReadyLif is the only company that makes a custom a-arm bump stop for the new Ram 1500. This prevents suspension damage during extreme travel.

Due to a design issue with Dodge Ram front differential and suspension, some owners may experience a vibration in the front end when in 4x4 mode, or a violent shaking vibration of the front wheels when going over a bump at speed. These two symptoms are often called a "death wobble", but actually appear to be two different problems with the Ram truck.

The 4HI mode vibration is a vibration or shudder that occurs when accelerating in 4x4 high mode. This affects Dodge Ram 1500 non mega cabs; Dodge couldn't discover why their stock trucks would do this for some customers. The solution for Dodge was to state that there is no problem and that all of the new Rams will shudder or shake when in 4x4 high. This symptom appears isolated to 2006-2011 1500 non-Mega Cab model trucks and when in 4-hi mode.

It is ReadyLift Suspension's position that if you have installed a lift kit onto your Dodge Ram truck and experience either of the two symptoms mentioned, you have two options. 1). IMMEDIATELY HAVE THE LEVELING KIT REMOVED FROM THE VEHICLE! or 2). Install
KORE High Angle CV Joints which will fix the factory issue.

Has Chris Evans bought a McLaren F1?

    Tue, 18 Sep 2012

The rumour on the grapevine this morning is that Radio 2 man and Ferrari nut, Chris Evans, has traded a Ferrari to buy a McLaren F1 Chris Evans is known for many things; Radio 2 presenter, doting dad, one-time enfant terrible of TV, creator of CarFest and, perhaps most of all, the most high-profile collector of classic Ferraris in the UK. But the word on the grapevine this morning is that Chris has chopped in a Ferrari – and we don’t know which of his Ferraris – to buy one of the 64 McLaren F1 supercars in existence. If he has, and we’re digging for confirmation, then he’s obviously been listening to the advice a number of experts at the top end of the classic car world who believe the ‘next’ Ferrari 250 GTO (a car Chris owns) will be the McLaren F1.
