FJ Cruiser/4Runner Lift Kit 69-6050

Max Lift 3-in Max Tire Diameter 33-in -
w/o X-REAS Suspension

ReadyLIFT® Suspension Inc. has used their proven engineering methods to produce a true 3-inch SST Suspension Lift System for the 2006-2016 Toyota 4Runner (P/N 69-5060). This system lifts the 2005-2013 FJ Cruiser 3.0” in front and 2.0” in the rear, all while maintaining the factory ride. Our 3-inch intermediate Smart Strut Technology system fits all FJ Cruisers and provides the owner with the opportunity to upgrade to larger wheel and tire combinations up to 33-inches in diameter while retaining the great stock ride and handling characteristics.

This is a complete suspension lift kit that includes a pair of powder coated steel strut extensions, two front differential drop brackets, two skid plate spacers and a set of rear lift spring spacers. The SST strut extension and diff drop bracket has been designed to provide 3-inches of front suspension lift while retaining the OEM safe suspension geometry. Unlike other kits, the ReadyLIFT® 3-inch suspension system requires no cutting or strut spring pre-loading.

Professional installation time is estimated at two to three hours.  An alignment will be necessary upon completion of installing the kit. Like all other ReadyLIFT kits, our FJ Cruiser mild lift kit is guaranteed for life against manufacturing defects.

NOTE: 2011-2013 models will require modification to the rear bump stop (shorten the bump stop) for rear spring installation

NOTE: Does not work with 4Runner Trail Edition or 4Runner or FJ Cruiser models equipped with Hydraulic Sway Bar.

Land Rover testing electric Defender 110 pickup

Mon, 12 Aug 2013

Land Rover has begun testing an electric version of the Land Rover Defender first shown at the 2012 Geneva motor show. The electric Defender prototype is in service at the Eden Project in Cornwall, U.K., a complex of several large transparent domes that house multiple artificially maintained environments containing thousands of rare plants, and is a popular visitor attraction. At the moment the electric Defender isn't exactly tearing through the Amazon rainforest, but the work it's doing is nevertheless a good approximation of how quite a lot of Defenders are used in real life -- at least in terms of speed and duration of use.

Audi readying new crossover to rival the BMW X6

Thu, 17 Mar 2011

Audi has kicked off development of a new performance-orientated crossover model to directly counter the BMW X6. Set to be called the Q6 when it reaches North American showrooms, the five-seat crossover is rumored to be based around the same all-wheel-drive underpinnings as the second-generation Volkswagen Touareg and the Porsche Cayenne, both of which use a short-wheelbase version of the Volkswagen Group's so-called Colorado platform that in long-wheelbase guise is also used in the Audi Q7. Nothing has been made official, but in an interview with the German media at the Geneva motor show, Audi boss Rupert Stadler alluded to the crossover, saying, “We can imagine a model between the Q5 and the Q7 .
