Renault Sport RS 01
Thu, 28 Aug 2014The Renault Sport RS 01 is the company's first series-production result of its intention to re-enter the sports car segment, as signalled by the DeZir and Alpine A 110-50 concepts. The car, however, is a track-only creation for the World Series by Renault racing championships. While we usually wouldn't cover racing cars, Renault's design department has clearly been heavily involved in the RS 01's development.

Presented in New York Auto Show in 1967, it was the first of three Astro concepts shown in annual succession and illustrates GM's desire to develop models that were both aerodynamic and attractive. What we might take for granted in aerodynamics nowadays was almost untouched territory in the mid ‘60s.

Mon, 06 Oct 2014The Land Rover Discovery Sport, GIANT wellies & the River Seine Apart from the full reveal of the new Jaguar XE range, JLR’s big outing at this year’s Paris Motor Show has been the public debut of the new Land Rover Discovery Sport. And, as is fast becoming the norm for Jaguar Land Rover, the new Discovery Sport arrived in Paris with a bit of a splash. Rather than just unveiling the new Discovery Sport on the floor in Paris (which they did, with just the Sport on display on the first day), JLR commissioned a giant barge to accommodate the Sport on the River Seine, together with a very British support act in the guise of giant wellingtons.
