Part Grading

The doors are graded according to an industry standard grading system to notate any damage. The damage is indicated by the amount of hours that a certified body shop would need to fix the door into perfect condition. An estimated standard shop rate for body repair is around $50/hour. Your premium part will be boxed and padded for protection. You may be asking does it really cost this much to ship? With the cost of fuel, labor, and surcharges these days it actually costs us more to ship. You must provide your phone number and a commercial address for delivery. You also must have a forklift or loading dock to unload the shipment or you will be charged for liftgate service ($100 minimum charge).

Martin Smith, head of Ford of Europe design for the last 10 years, will retire at the end of this year, before which he will work on a project to study the future direction of the company's global design direction. He will be replaced by current head of strategic concepts group, Joel Piaskowski on 1 July. Smith (64) first joined Ford back in 2004, leaving General Motors as director of design for Opel/Vauxhall.

The Citroen C4 Aircross debuts at Geneva 2012 Citroen will give their C4 Aircross its first public outing at the Geneva Motor Show next week as well as new DS3, DS4 & DS5 models. We got the reveal of the new Citroen C4 Aircross – Citroen’s version of the Peugeot 4008 and Mitsubishi ASX – back in September 2011, and now Citroen are giving the Aircross its first public outing at the Geneva Motor Show ahead of a launch in Europe in the Autumn. The decent-looking C4 Aircross makes a good fist of marking itself out as a Citroen, and seems to offer a credible option in the compact SUV stakes.
