2014 Corvette Stingray coupe, Z51 details revealed in order guide
Tue, 16 Apr 2013The 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray won't arrive at select dealer lots until summer, but you can get a jump-start on the ordering process now that the ordering guide has been released at Corvette Blogger. There's a lot of press release-worthy copy in the guide (“sleek, sculpted profile,” “richly appointed interior design”), but there are also plenty of details to whet the appetites of the C7-hungry masses. The guide contains an exhaustive breakdown of what is, and isn't, available on the 1LT, 2LT and 3LT trim levels of both the base Stingray and the Z51 coupe -- including wheel, seating and exterior color options.
Ford Fiesta ST500 (2008): first official pictures
Tue, 10 Jun 2008By Dimitri Pesin First Official Pictures 10 June 2008 16:36 As we prepare to wave goodbye to the current Fiesta, Ford has released a special edition ST to keep interest in its hot-hatch alive. A hard job indeed, with the stunning looks of the Verve concept being carried through to the next-gen car. It hasn't stopped Ford trying hard though and, following in the footsteps of the Focus ST500 that was released in 2008, all Fiesta ST 500 models come in metallic black with a U-shaped stripe on the front. According to Ford, the new scheme is designed to echo the livery of the classic Escort RS2000 of the ‘70s.
Think, again: Norwegian electric-car maker looks for U.S. plant
Thu, 12 Mar 2009Think, the Norwegian electric-car maker, says it plans to build an assembly plant and a technical center in the United States. After financing failed in the wake of the collapse of credit markets in late 2008, the company entered Norway's debt-settlement process (the equivalent of Chapter 11 bankruptcy), and production of its recently redesigned Think city car was halted. It continues operating under a $6 million interim funding measure while it pursues additional financing.
