Up for sale is a professionally rebuilt pair of date matched Small Block Chevy 2.02 double hump cylinder heads. Casting number is 3782461. The heads are dated E15 & E175 (May 1, 1965 & May 17, 1965). They have 64cc combustion chambers with new 2.02 stainless intake and new 1.60 stainless exhaust valves. The 461 is one of the best closed chamber cylinder heads of the 1960’s. Heads have been hot tanked, shot blasted, and magnafluxed. These heads have been completely rebuilt with 8 new hard exhaust seats for unleaded fuel, 16 new thick wall bronze valve guides, a 3 angle valve job, 8 new stainless one piece intake valves, 8 new one piece stainless exhaust valves, & 16 new performance chrome silicon valve springs good for up to .550” valve lift (closed pressure is 110# at 1.800”, open pressure is 325# at 1.200”). The heads have also been resurfaced .007” for a perfect head gasket seal. These heads are also machined for screw in studs with guide plates (not included in the auction). Heads are then thoroughly washed and fully assembled with 16 new premium Teflon valve stem seals and 32 new heavy-duty keepers. All valves and valve seats have been checked for a perfect compression seal. There is no porting or polishing on any intake port, exhaust port, or any combustion chamber. All threaded bolt holes are good (one head has one Heli-Coil thread repair on an intake bolt hole & the other head has a Heli-coil thread repair on a valve cover bolt hole). The heads come as pictured and are ready to install. The heads pictured are the actual heads you are buying and will receive. The double hump heads were factory installed on all High Performance Fuel Injected and carbureted Chevrolet vehicles including Corvette, Camaro RS SS & Z-28, Chevelle Malibu, Chevy II Nova, Bel Air, & Impala. These heads will also interchange with other camel hump heads with casting numbers 461, 461X, 462, 291, 292, 186, 041, & 492. These heads will fit all 265, 283, 302, 305, 307, 327, 350, & 400 small block Chevy engines from 1955 to 1986 with no modifications (steam holes will need to be drilled for a 400) and 1987-1999 with correct gen 1 intake manifold (except 1992 & up LT-1 reverse flow). Jaguar XF - or is it a Tesla? Tesla seem convinced – or at least they’re doing all they can to convince the public – that the Tesla Model S is a soon to be reality, despite all in the industry saying they can’t deliver what they are offering – a high-end, luxury, high-spec sports saloon with a 300 mile range – for the sort of money they claim. That money – as we learned recently – is to be $69,500 for the Tesla S with the 300 mile battery, a price that’s had many scratching their heads over how Tesla can stick enough laptop batteries in the Model S to go that far, and how they can do it at a price that’s a good thirty per cent less than the ‘Lotus-with-batteries’ Tesla Roadster.

Bentley has released a short documentary featuring director of design, Luc Donckerwolke, and SangYup Lee, its new head of exterior design, taking a ride around New York City in the back of a pair of Mulsannes. Called 'Intelligent Details,' the film sees Donckerwolke and Lee talking about how one of the challenges of designing a successful Bentley interior is to match the car's performance with the expectation of its integrated technology. And to make sure you get the message loud and clear, not only does the video show the Mulsanne's optional smartly integrated iPads, which emerge from the front seat backs at the touch of a button, the whole movie itself was shot on an iPhone 5S (albeit 'enhanced' by some extremely expensive-looking lenses and rigs), then cut together on one of the car's in-built tablets.
