Here is a good working Chevrolet Dash Clock for 1951-1953 Chevy Models. This Clock was removed from a 1951 Chevy Deluxe some 30 years ago. My friend is a bit of a Clock & Watch fanatic and he personally removed this Clock from his 1951 Chevy Styleline Deluxe Sedan back in the early 80's. He has since taken the Clock apart to clean and lubricate the movement and while it was apart he cleaned the Dial and lens.  The Clock is in excellent working order and is dated March 23, 1950 on the rear of the Clock.  My friend said that the clock always worked well and that's why he kept it all of these years.  You might notice the piece of Tape on the Rear of the Clock....My friend put that piece of tape over the Clocks Lamp hole to keep any dirt or dust from entering the clock. He wound the old Clock up earlier today and showed me that it was working just as it should and it's sitting next to me ticking away as I type this auction. The Clock has the Fast & Slow adjustment on the front so you make make adjustments as needed.  This Clock was made my the New Haven Clock and Watch Co. and is dated March 23, 1950.  These Push-In Dash Clocks were used on many Chevrolet cars and Trucks throughout the 50's and this Clock would fit in many 1951-1952-1953-1954-1955 Chevy Styleline Deluxe Fleetline Belair 150 210 and 3100 3200 GMC 100 etc etc. This Clock has a Nice Clean Bezel with little pitting and some light scratches... the Original Wind-Up/Time Adjustment Knob is Chrome plated and in good shape. The Dial has nice crisp color.... just a cool working original 1951-1955 Chevrolet Dash Clock that was removed from a 1951 Chevy Styleline Deluxe Sedan.  Thanks for looking....shipping is $7.95 in the Lower 48 States. Thanks again.

ABOVE: THE CLOCK LOOKS PRETTY NICE AND IS TICKING AWAY AND WORKING AS I TYPE THIS AUCTION
ABOVE: THE CLOCK IS DATED MARCH 23, 1950 ..... 63+ YEARS LATER IT STILL WORKS AS IT SHOULD. NOTICE THE PIECE OF TAPE ACROSS THE BACK OF THE CLOCK THAT WAS PUT THERE BY MY FRIEND TO KEEP THE DUST OUT OF THE CLOCK AFTER HE CLEANED AND OILED THE MOVEMENT
ABOVE: THERE ARE A COUPLE OF NICKS AND SCRATCHES IN THE BEZEL BUT THE CLOCK WORKS JUST AS IT SHOULD AND WILL LOOK AWESOME IN THE DASH OF YOUR CLASSIC CHEVROLET OR GMC

Concept Car of the Week: Lamborghini Marzal (1967)

Fri, 14 Dec 2012

In 1967, Lamborghini's lineup consisted of just two cars – the Miura and the 400 GT 2+2 – but this wasn't enough for Ferrucio Lamborghini, who fancied a true four-seater GT to add to his stable. After the successful collaboration on the Miura, he naturally returned to carrozeria Bertone which was commissioned to design the car. The project was left in the hands of Marcello Gandini, who turned Ferrucio's vision into a revolutionary design concept.

The Freelander 2 2011 - Video below It’s only a week or two (well, almost three) since Land Rover spilled the beans on the changes for the 2011 Freelander 2. But that’s long enough for them to have got the camcorder out and shot a bit of footage. So as they sent it to us – and it lets you see the subtle cosmetic changes for the 2011 MY – we thought we’d publish it.

Lotus Elise Club Racer (2011) at 2011 Geneva motor show

Tue, 22 Feb 2011

The Lotus Elise Club Racer is the latest variation on the long-serving Elise, which will debut at the 2011 Geneva motor show. Disciples of the 'Lotus=lightweight' mantra will be pleased to know the Elise Club Racer does without the German tuner bling, additional luxury features or merchandising that have appeared during CEO Dany Bahar's bold reinvention of the Hethel sports car maker. The Elise Club Racer marks a return to old-school values for Lotus, with some 24kg of extraneous weight removed from the 15-year-old Elise; and added hardware tweaks to ensure the well-regarded roadster retains its performance edge.
