JDM Adjustable Cam Gears allow fine tuning of the camshaft timing 
to maximize engine performance and tailor power characteristics for 
various driving conditions.

JDM Cam Gears are made completely of anodized Duralumin with 
nickle plated gear teeth except for applications with timing chains 
which utilize an aluminum slide with steel teeth. JDM engineers chose 
Duralumin as the core material for JDM Cam Gears because its lightweight
properties decrease drag on the engine.

The angle that the stock cams are clocked to when installed at the stock 
location on factory cam gears not always the most effective for making 
power with aftermarket cams. Aftermarket cams with more aggressive lift 
and duration often need to be dialed in a a specific angle to optimize 
the powerband for your setup. Adjustable Cam Gears are important when 
installing cams as they allow you to dial in the cam degree for optimum 
performance.

Ron Dennis has said that the new McLaren P1 will smash lap records at the Nurburgring and at the Top Gear track at Dunsfold. The McLaren 12C Spider – the roadster version of the MP4-12C – gets its UK debut this weekend at the Octane Jubilee Tour of Elegance at Windsor Castle. McLaren’s thoughts may be focused on the debut of the new F1 (P12) at Paris in a few week’s time, but that doesn’t mean the more mainstream MP4-12C and its convertible sibling, the 12C Spider, are pushed aside. After revealing the 12C Spider in July – and taking it off to Pebble Beach in August – it’s now time for the UK to get its first public view of the new convertible McLaren.
