Excellent SRT-4 powered K-car wagon for sale

Thu, 21 Feb 2013

Straight from the deepest depths of “why didn't we think of that?” comes this excellent application of American ingenuity and can-do spirit, a 1987 Chrysler Town and Country station wagon with the “motor, transmission, suspension, brakes and everything little in between” from a 2005 Dodge Neon SRT-4. It's maroogundy, it's got faux-woodgrain, the brothel-spec interior, and the builder did a pretty decent job of maintaining a stock appearance both inside and out. It even has period-correct pedals and steering wheel.

Kia Pro_Cee’d GT Turbo first photo leaks out

Sun, 27 Jan 2013

We have the first of the 2013 Kia Pro_Cee’d GT – Kia’s Pro_Cee’d with the Veloster Turbo engine – ahead of its debut at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show. We reported back in October that Kia were definitely going to stick the 1.6 litre petrol turbo from the Hyundai Velsoter in to the 3-door Pro_Cee’d to create a quite warm hatch to start chasing the hot hatch market, and Kia themselves teased the Pro_Cee’d GT in November. And now, ahead of the reveal of the Pro_Cee’d GT in March at Geneva, we get the first photo of the Pr0_Cee’d GT complete with the added butchness we expected to differentiate the GT from its more prosaic siblings.

Mitsubishi launches world's first twin-clutch SUV

Mon, 31 Mar 2008

By Mike Elwin First Official Pictures 31 March 2008 14:15 Mitsubishi will sell the world’s first SUV with a twin-clutch gearbox this autumn when it launches the Outlander Twin Clutch SST. Previously such systems have been the preserve of sports cars and performance-orientated hatchbacks, and definitely not off-roaders. CAR Online has tested the SST system in the new Evo X and been impressed by the speed and quality of the gearchange.
