Although final numbers are not in, the folks at Hagerty Insurance had observers at each auction who kept a running total while every car crossed the block. Next BMW X1 loses inline-six, gets smaller and lighter

The new X1 loses optional six-cylinder power; a new high-output four-cylinder replaces it.
