The new 3.6-litre V8 diesel – already revealed in the Range Rover and set to account for 70 percent of its sales – will be available in the Sport in January 2007. We continue our review / road test of the Peugeot 308 S The 308 range as a whole can stretch north of £22,000 as a base price, which is far too much money for what’s on offer. But this car – the Peugeot 308  S HDi 90 – comes in at a more reasonable £16,955. Our car did have a few extras thrown at it - metallic paint (£410) and SatNav (£715) – which pushed it up over £18k.
