This is a restored Model A Ford "L2" style generator, usable on all Model As, 1928-1931. Any parts missing or non-functional have been replaced with new parts. The commutator has been lathe-trued and new bearings have been installed. All necessary repairs have been made. The generator has been polarized for a 6-Volt, positive ground system, lubricated and tested for output by running on the bench. Includes pulley and cut-out fasteners.

We are the only Model A generator restorer to recognize the electrical necessity of having bare metal where the generator makes grounding contact with the engine block. (See photos.) Low electrical resistance means higher output.

This generator is ready to install and run for its second 80 years.
