When
Rockville engineers were tasked with designing and building a new
component speaker, the target was to create a new standard. Well we are
proud to say that the RVL6KIT hits that mark. The new RVL6KIT matched
component system delivers stunning tonal midrange/mid-bass response,
with detailed tonal highs coming together through a superior crossover
system. This component system has enough technology built in to satisfy
even the most demanding audiophile.
Engineered Sound
First; a cutting edge, spun aluminum cone is used for the 6.5” midrange/mid-bass driver. The aluminum cone delivers a true piston
action with no flex even during high power excursions. The result is
outstanding bass, mid-bass and midrange clarity yielding ultra low
distortion. The aluminum cone driver is rigid yet lightweight and
provides impressive high-impact sound, uniform motion with fast attack
characteristics. The aluminum is treated so that its non-resonant and
self-dampening with a very pure sonic signature that minimizes
colorations that typical 6.5” drivers suffer from under high power.
The butyl rubber surround was especially designed from its shape, flexibility and rigidity so that it operates as one in unison with the cone.
High quality authentic silk-dome tweeters deliver natural balanced sound
with perfect highs. The tweeters were designed to compliment the
mid-range/mid-bass drivers with a slight sweeping overlap of frequencies
in the high range for clearer vocal response. The tweeter domes are
actually self-dampening and very natural sounding with first class
impulse response. The open sound is unique in its unobtrusiveness,
without any fatiguing resonances. The benefit can be appreciated when
listening to today’s digital recordings.
The silk dome tweeters are powered by neodymium magnets and cooled with
high viscosity Ferro-fluid. They feature installation flexibility with
multiple mounting options including, surface, angled and flush mounts.
The crossover system incorporates audiophile grade Mylar capacitors, for
smooth roll off and iron core filter coil cores. Coupled with
protection circuitry and tweeter equalization control giving the
listener a choice to extend or decrease tweeter response by 3dB or pure
flat mode. The advantage of the precision matched component system with
custom designed crossover provide for a lifting of the front stage so
that you actually feel as if the performance was occurring right in your
car and you are front stage and center!

Warranty Repair/Exchange Period: 1 YEAR
Defective items: If your item is defective within the first 30 days of when it was delivered to you; you have the following options:
We will send you a pre-paid shipping label to replace the item for a brand new one.
We will send you a pre-paid shipping label to exchange the item for another item of your choice. If the item you chose is more or less money we will work out the price difference with you.
We will refund you 100% of your money back. For refunds it is the customer's responsibility to ship the item back to us.
Non-defective items: If you want to return your item within the first 30 days of when it was delivered to you; you have the following options:

Process for returning items Please email us with your eBay user ID, Item code / model #, Condition of the item, and the reason for your return. Please also indicate whether you would like a replacement, an exchange, or a refund. We will supply you with a reference number (RMA #) to put on the package which will ensure quick processing of your return. All returns require a RMA# to be returned back to our facility.

Update: According to an Automotive News report, "NHTSA said it will contact local authorities about the latest fire 'to determine if there are vehicle safety implications that merit agency action.'" The agency had previously backed away from an investigation after determining that vehicle defects were not to blame for the fire in early October. Just after Tesla Motors reported a $38 million third-quarter loss and within a few weeks of two other car fires, a third Model S sedan reportedly burned on the highway near Smyrna, Tenn. The Tesla Motors Club forum supplied photos of the crash, which occurred around 1:30 Wednesday afternoon, in addition to intense speculation on the cause of the fire.
The slow reveal of the Infiniti JX crossover ahead of its debuts at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance in August and the Los Angeles auto show in November continued on Thursday with a photo showing the seven-seat crossover's hood and grille. Infiniti plans to put the JX on sale in early 2012. The crossover will be built at Nissan's plant in Smyrna, Tenn., and will share its platform with the Nissan Altima, Maxima and Murano.
