Once you weld a tube connector into your tube, if you smooth out the welds, all you'll see is a small allen bolt which looks a lot better than the normal exhaust flanges that people use to connect tubes together on a sand rail, dune buggy, rock crawler, or mud buggy. Tube connectors are the easiest way to make a section of a chassis removable. Drink-and-drive deaths down in 2007

According to the data the number of fatal accidents dropped by 16 percent from 2006 to 2007 (from 490 to 410), while the number of deaths in these accidents fell 18 percent (down to 460 in 2007 from 650 in 2006). But while the number of deaths is going down, hospitals are still being kept busy as drink-drive casualties rose from 11,840 in 2006 to 12,260 in 2007, a jump of four percent.
To thwart speculators, Lexus will lease, not sell, 500 LFAs

The company will offer only two-year leases for the $375,000 two-seater, said Brian Smith, vice president of sales and dealer development for Lexus division. Lexus will hang on to the vehicle's title.
