Foreign and territory bids are welcome "ONLY IF" I can ship to a Continental U.S. address. For example: CANADA is a foreign country and I will NOT ship there. Also, PUERTO RICO is a territory and I will NOT ship there...Please make "ALL" plans before bidding to have a relative or friend in the Continental U.S. accept this item for you and for them to ship it to your country or territory. Lower 48 states, Continental U.S. shipping fee and the handling service fee is flat rate amount shown in shipping costs above. ***PLEASE BE AWARE*** There is potential to encounter problems with this "Rebuilt Old Stock" carburetor...it is NOT a fresh rebuild and the company that rebuilt it is out of business. It is sold as is.

***UP FOR AUCTION*** You are bidding on a long ago REBUILT, Carter brand, 2 barrel carburetor. The code on the rebuilder's box is CH200. The original tag is missing. According to my old catalogs, this is the "WCD" carburetor used on 1953-1954 Chrysler New Yorker and Imperial, HEMI 331 cubic inch, Firepower V8 engines. THIS MAY BE A WONDERFUL RESTORATION PIECE FOR THAT EARLY 50's Hemi 180 horsepower V8. You may want one as a spare just for the parts. This unit was in packaged warehouse storage for over 40 years. Fortunately, those years in a "climate controlled warehouse" were kind to this piece...it looks GOOD...Study photos for general condition of this item. It does exhibit rust, dust, grime and tarnish due to the box lid being open for many years. This carb is old stock from an auto parts warehouse. You or a carburetor repair specialist MAY need to clean and refurbish it a bit...AGAIN, it was rebuilt over 40 years ago and has been sitting in storage ever since..."common sense"...it may need to be re-conditioned. THERE IS NO GUARANTEE OR WARRANTY and THERE IS NO RETURN. Please use the photos as a guide and do some "CAREFUL" research on your own. Is this the correct carb for your classic MOPAR vehicle? Please be sure you want this part before you bid.

Ferrari LaFerrari lands in China: Shanghai Motor Show

Wed, 24 Apr 2013

Ferrari’s hybrid supercar was as eagerly received as it was in Geneva, with a sea of photographers, press and visitors thronging to get a glimpse of what is undeniably an impressive ‘F70′ from Ferrari. But looking good is perhaps the second ‘must have’ for a supercar – especially one that replaces the Enzo – and LaFerrari looks to deliver on the number one priority for most supercar buyers - performance. With 798bhp from its naturally aspirated V12 and an extra 161bhp from its electric motor, LaFerrari promises a dose of green credentials – important, to a degree, on China’s polluted roads – to go with its performance and handling, performance that can see the car it get to 62mph in under 3 seconds and on to a 186mph in an even more impressive 15.5 seconds.

Brabus unveils 850-hp grocery getter

Tue, 03 Dec 2013

It wouldn't be the Essen Motor Show without German tuning house Brabus introducing its own versions of one or two of Mercedes-Benz cars, with borderline-unbelievable power figures. And this year the Bottrop-based outfit didn't disappoint, rolling out the Brabus 850 6.0 Biturbo based on the 2014 E63 AMG station wagon. For starters, Brabus has increased the V8 engine's displacement from 5,461cc to 5,912cc, installing custom-made forged pistons and a precision balanced billet crankshaft, and replacing the stock turbos with ones of their own design featuring larger compressor units.

Bring a Trailer: 1990 Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX rally car

Fri, 14 Mar 2014

This 1990 Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX rally car is featured on Bring a Trailer this morning, and it brings us right back to our rambunctious high school years. Sure, we didn't get our licenses until 1996, but that was the perfect time to find something a few years old--preferably with a turbocharger and a manual transmission—and hoon it to death. But while there were several Eclipses floating around our group of friends, none was as built as this car.
