And it looks like much the same scenario will play out with the Dacia Duster facelift – revealed today in full before Frankfurt – with it rolling out in Europe but with no immediate plans to bring it to the UK. Tue, 08 Jun 2010Once upon a time there was a small boy, about seven years old, who had taken an interest in cars at a rather early stage, mainly thanks to his old man, who was (and, thankfully, still is) a car enthusiast and, back in those days, a staunch supporter of a certain Southern German marque. This naturally meant that the small boy would sometimes be a bit annoyed by his father's occasionally overbearing passion, but at the same time usually knit his eyebrows himself whenever he came across something sporting four wheels but no blue & white propeller (which, he believed, was the way things were supposed to be). So the foundations had been laid to turn this very young chap into a proper petrolhead one day, but his interest remained relatively casual and moderate until that one fateful evening.
Jaguar F-type is go! C-X16 sports car will launch in 2013
Wed, 04 Apr 2012Jaguar tonight confirmed it will build the F-type - the final production name for the C-X16 concept car. The new Jag F-type will go on sale in a year's time, in early summer 2013, as a convertible first with an F-type coupe to follow in 2014. CAR understands it'll be positioned halfway between a Porsche Boxster/Cayman and a 911.
