Instead it’s the 9-3X, a jacked-up estate in the style of the Audi Allroad. Like the Audi, it’s only available in estate guise (Sport Wagon in Saab speak), and will be officially unveiled at the 2009 Geneva motor show in just a few weeks' time.

Poor old Volvo appears to have been hawked around the world’s car makers in the hope of finding a fit for the pride of Sweden. The Interwebs have been full of speculation about a new Koenigsegg in the last few days – the Koenigsegg One:1 – which has surfaced after a brochure scan for the One:1 was leaked online (above). The general consensus has been that the One:1 is a new customisation programme for Koenigsegg, allowing buyers to customise their cars in an even more extreme way.
