The other end has slightly tiered sections to push down into the sewer "hole" in the ground, to eliminate any odors. The two pieces then press to fit together to get a 90 degree angle that goes from your sewer hose down to the drain hole. Never any kinking or twisting - Maintains a tight seal without clamps.
