Essential all-stainless steel hardware for boat-builder and sailor. Ideal for sailboats up about 18 ft. Items are used, in excellent condition. Shrouds are very new.

1 unit - 2 1/4 in. mainsheet swivel block with cleat
1 unit - 'Nautos' pair of traveller swivel blocks 2 1/4 in. + 1 1/2 in.
1 unit - 'Racelite' boom goose-neck (fits  1 3/4 in. tapered boom), w/screws
1 unit - 'Racelite" Mast Hound (fits 1/7/8 in. diameter masthead), w/screw
4 units -2 Pintles , 2 Gudgeons (fits 3/4 in. thick rudder) w/4 bolts
3 units -  stainless braided cable 7/64 in. shrouds, with adjustable stretchers, shackles, all pins included.

Like it or not, BMW's front-wheel future is trundling our way fast: The new 2-series Active Tourer, a front-wheel-drive MPV powered by a range of transverse-mounted three- and four-cylinder motors made its official debut Tuesday at the Geneva motor show. There wasn't much we didn't know about the 2-series Active Tourer ahead of the show -- catch yourself up with our full breakdown -- but seeing it in the steel drove home the point that this thing is happening, and we're powerless to stop it. It won't be all bad, though.

Survey Reveals Car Use Slump Despite Lower Petrol Prices

USUALLY the news that petrol prices are down would be cause for celebration, but the latest AA/Populus survey reveals that car use is also on the slide. Despite more wallet-friendly prices at the pumps the situation is failing to kick-start more car use. The poll of more than 18,000 AA members, conducted in June, revealed that just 7% were more relaxed about prices at the pumps, and were using their car more than a year ago.

Chrysler posts $370 million net loss on costs tied to repaid loans

Chrysler Group LLC, after recording its first post-bankruptcy profit three months ago, posted a net loss of $370 million in the second quarter due to costs tied to the repayment of government bailout loans. Chrysler incurred a charge of $551 million in paying back the U.S. Department of Treasury and the Canadian loans that kept the automaker afloat in 2009.
