Selling the complete rig shown above from the deck upwards. This is an AMERICAN 14 built 1977. Sails are in good used condition, no repairs or holes that I have seen. Mast is straight but does have a chip from the bottom. It still sits perfectly in the mast step so has never needed to be repaired. If you were changing the rigging to a different boat, the mast could be shortened y 1 inch and the chip would be gone. Mast is 20" 2" and has a cross section of 2 1/8 by 2 3/4 inches. There are three stays that support the mast, one front and two side stays. All those riggings are stainless and are in good usable condition. Boom has a cross section of 1 7/8 by 2 3/8 inches and has few scrapes on the rear, but it is straight and functions well. Main sail measures 14 ft (luff) 8"11" (foot) and 17' ( leech). JIb measures 14' (luff) 6'10" (foot) and 15'2" (leech). Pickup only unless buyer makes all shipping arrangements. I would charge $30 to wrap this in cardboard if it were going in a truck for YOUR SHIPPING ARRANGEMENT. If a plywood crate would be required, there would be an additional charge. Lotus named lead marque for Goodwood
Wed, 14 Mar 2012Lotus will take a place of pride as lead marque at June's Goodwood Festival of Speed, backed by an expected record attendance of more than 40 historic racing Lotus models. “Lotus is an incredibly important British car marque, and we plan to have maybe the greatest concentration of a single marque that we've ever had at the festival,” said Lord March, whose Goodwood historic house provides the backdrop for the four-day event beginning on June 28. Emerson Fittipaldi will be reunited with his championship-winning Lotus 72 and an early Lotus 7 race car, a type that many drivers--including British Le Mans legend Derek Bell--cut their teeth on in their formative years.

Sun, 05 Jun 20112012 BMW 1-Series - now from BMW When we reported that the 2012 BMW 1 Series had leaked out yesterday, we did say it wouldn’t take long for BMW to release details officially, especially as there were so many official photos of the 2012 1-Series. In the end it took all of 24 hours for BMW to get it together and send us details, which lets us fill in the gaps from yesterday on detail, although there’s really nothing new on the photo front. We know from yesterday that the 2012 BMW 1-Series is bigger than the outgoing car, and that the styling, particularly on the nose, is a more confident statement than before.
