CYMAT FUEL CELL BLOCK SET 13 GALLON NASCAR RACING

 

CYMAT Fuel block set for a 13 gallon fuel cell. CYMAT stabilized aluminum foam blocks, was BSR/Hutch P.N. FUE.CYMAT, retailed for over $1500 at one time. Blocks were mandatory in Nascar racing at one time. Measure 6 1/2"x9 1/4"x17" and weigh only 9 pounds each. Pair of blocks made by CYMAT corp and processed by Motorsports Innovations, Inc. - New blocks, never installed.

Ford is bucking that trend by allowing customers to sign up at BuiltToughTest.com, and get the chance to explain how they would put the aluminum reinforced 2015 Ford F-150 to the test. Product development does extensive testing to the extremes, going as far as disguising the F-150 and running it through the 2013 Baja 1000.

McLaren denies Ron Dennis demotion rumors

McLaren has denied reports that boss Ron Dennis is being demoted in the wake of the automotive division he heads losing money. Germany's Auto Motor und Sport broke the news this week that Dennis could be demoted. He is known for shaping McLaren into a motorsports powerhouse, and has spearheaded its automotive division since 2009.

Lamborghini tonight whisked the covers off the new £195,000 Gallardo Super Trofeo Stradale supercar on the eve of the 2011 Frankfurt motor show. It’s the roadgoing version of the Super Trofeo race cars that compete in the European Blancpain Super Trofeo championship, a one-make series for Gallardos and their racier and richest owners. Hence the Stradale name – it’s Italian for road.
