We have a nice sb2.2 cnc ported Chevrolet topend,includes like new titanium 7mm 2.180 intake 1.600 exhaust racing valves,PSI roller springs,T&D 1.75 Intake and Exhaust shaft rockers and ARP hardware,Wilson ported Bowtie 88958617 Open Competition intake,GM valley cover 12370840,and GM cast aluminum valve covers with spring oilers.These were used Nascar heads from Richard Childress(ECR Engines) were sent to HVH for a professional valve job and were just finished and are ready to bolt on.They are some of the latest heads available and one of the nicest top ends we've ever had.The valve covers aren't from RCR,but fit perfect.Most SB2.2 heads flow 375-405 cfm and will make around 800HP. CAR reader Archie Robertson, from Hertfordshire, won a money-can’t-buy prize at the 2010 Goodwood Festival of Speed thanks to CAR Magazine and Jaguar: an XFR super saloon for the weekend and VIP tickets to Goodwood including an unforgettable ride up the hill. Archie and his wife Judy spent Friday at the Festival of Speed with Jaguar hospitality thrown in. But the highlight of the day was a ride in the new Jaguar XKR 75, sitting alongside Jaguar’s chief chassis guru and driving legend Mike Cross, as he slithered and rocketed up Lord March’s front drive.

BMW 1 Series dead in US after 2013

With its successor set to bow at the Detroit Auto Show in a couple of months' time, word's come down from BMW that 2013 will indeed be the end of the line for the BMW 1 Series — at least in the US. It will remain available elsewhere in the world as a three-door and five-door hatch. The coupe and convertible, meanwhile, are being replaced by the 2 Series, in convention with BMW's new naming scheme.

Lifeboat resuces two swamped cars

A LIFEBOAT CREW rescued two cars which were swamped by the sea within 90 minutes of each other as the highest tides of the year caught drivers out. At least one of the vehicles which were wrecked by the submerging North Sea had been used to try to pull a boat out of the water, the RNLI said. A crew from Redcar, near Middlesbrough, responded to the first call-out at 3.20pm on Wednesday after coastguards received a number of 999 calls saying two people were on the roof of a vehicle on the town's beach as the waters came in.
