'05 - '10 Scion TC
Driver Side Rear View Mirror
w/Turn Signal Marker

Please read through the entire description before bidding!

This auction is for a black left/driver side rear view mirror with turn signal marker and connector removed from a 2005 Scion TC. I believe this should fit any 2005 - 2010 Scion TC, but please verify this for yourself.  This is a genuine Toyota part, not some cheap Chinese aftermarket replacement. Don't skimp out on your sports car with garbage quality replacement parts.

Determining part fitment and compatibility is the sole responsibility of the buyer/bidder! There are no refunds or exchanges for "oops, I got the wrong part/this part doesn't work on my car", so please look over the parts carefully, and compare any part numbers in the pictures below with yours, or contact a dealer to verify this part will work on your car. Any and all costs incurred for dealer reprogramming, reflashing or unlocking of electronic parts in order to make the part work is also the sole responsibility of the buyer/bidder.

Condition

This part is in overall good condition. There are only a few minor flaws which can be seen in detail in the photos below. There are your usual rock chips and scratches/scuffs, but they're very minor. There is also a crack in the turn signal marker lens, but it does not interfere with the functionality or the fit of the lens, and is not obviously until you look closely/look for it. Some of the plastic around 2 of the mounting studs has broken off, so they can be somewhat loose if not tightened all the way down as far as they'll go into the rest of the plastic threads, but this is how it was mounted to the car for however long it has been that way, and obviously it was holding on fine (mirror was not loose at all when I removed it). It shouldn't be a problem once the mirror is mounted. There is also a light haze towards the top and bottom of the glass that can only be seen from certain angles, which I had a hard time getting to show up in the pictures. It is not a major issue by any means, as it doesn't interfere with visibility, and may even come clean with more thorough cleaning, but I just want the buyer to know it's there. Other than that, the stuff that matters is good to go. The mirror motor functions fine in all directions, as does the turn signal.  I would rate this item a 7/10. Please see the detailed photos provided below to further determine for yourself the cosmetic condition of the item, and what it's worth to you. If you have any questions, or require more photos, please do not hesitate to contact me.

BMW X5 trio spied testing near Spartanburg

Tue, 07 May 2013

Autoweek reader J. Monroe spotted a camouflaged BMW X5 convoy somewhere on Interstate 26, which just so happens to run near the German automaker's Spartanburg, S.C., plant (one of the X5's production sites). Despite a strategic application of BMW's dazzling, swirly vinyl wrap, the lines of these X5s were identical to those on the models available now.

Who's Where: Bryan Nesbitt becomes General Manager of Cadillac

Fri, 31 Jul 2009

Bryan Nesbitt, who until last week was General Motors' North American Vice President of Design, started his new role as general manager of the Cadillac brand on Monday, July 27. His appointment, which surprised many, is part of an effort to integrate design, marketing and advertising, which have always been intrinsically linked. While this move marks a significant step change in the positioning of the new General Motors, which, under the direction of product czar Bob Lutz, has seen fit to promote a young designer into such a high level managerial position, it is a triumph not only for Nesbitt, 40, but for all designers: it is the first time that a designer has been promoted to one of the top executive roles at an automotive company.

New 2015 BMW X6 Facelift: OFFICIAL – Price from £51,150

Fri, 06 Jun 2014

The 2015 BMW X6 (pictured) officially arrives Yesterday saw the facelift for the BMW X6 leak out, with a handful of photos showing the styling tweaks BMW has wrought for the updated version of the ‘X5 Coupe’, but we now get the official reveal with full specs and information. As yesterday’s photos showed, BMW has updated the X6 with styling cues borrowed from the new X5 (and, to a degree, from the new X4, the X6′s little brother) with a new treatment for the front and back ends that make the new X6 look less slab-ended than the current model. That means new contours for the front bumper with larger air intakes, a matt aluminium kidney grill and a rear apron with diffuser, stainless steel exhausts with black chrome tail pipes, 20″ alloys and Ferric Grey mirrors on the X6 M50d.
