Up for auction is my backup riding helmet, a full face Scorpion Geronimo.

Purchased new from local Kawasaki dealer, the helmet was rarely worn. It is clean and in great shape. Never dropped or involved in wreck.
Three minor scratches on front screen - I was unable to really show the marks in a photo. They do not impair line of sight and are not a big deal.
Comes with protective storage bag. All photos are of actual helmet for sale.

I have sold my bike and am getting rid of all of my riding gear. Help me clear out my garage!

Show Review: 100% Design 2005

Thu, 07 Jul 2005

London has recently hosted 100% Design, the city's response to the Milan Furniture Show that currently dominates the product design calendar. Just as the Italians have spread their show over the city, Londoners have begun to do the same, introducing 100% East in the arty East End, and using more floorspace at Earls Court, the exhibition centre that formerly hosted the British Motor Show. 100% Design is complemented at Earls Court by 100% Detail and 100% Material.

FCA issues warning on logbook loans

Fri, 06 Jun 2014

VULNERABLE people who use their car as security to take out a loan are finding themselves squeezed even harder financially and even threatened, the City regulator has found. The Financial Conduct Authority warned it will put firms offering logbook loans out of action if they do not "dramatically" improve their standards, after finding evidence of poor behaviour including little or no affordability checks being carried out and some applicants being encouraged to manipulate details of their income. It said lenders are failing to properly spell out exactly how expensive such debts will be, with the true cost often masked by an emphasis on "low" weekly repayments and key terms and conditions buried in small print.
