Scosche MZ06SR 2000-4 Mercedes C Class with 8 way ISO Connector/interface

This MZ06SR allows you to replace your factory OEM stereo while retaining factory steering wheel controls, if the vehicle is equipped. This interface will maintain the data-controlled +12V accessory output as well as provide navigation outputs for reverse, vehicle speed pulse and parking brake.

Why do I need to spend extra on an interface?
An interface is a small computer system that allows your new head unit to properly communicate with your vehicle’s computer system. If you install a new aftermarket radio without using an interface, you will lose many of the standard security features of the vehicle. This is due to vehicle manufactures running part of the vehicle’s computer system through the OEM radio. Functions lost include, but not limited to, are warning chimes (keys left in ignition, lights left on, low fuel etc.), security and alarm systems, +12V accessory and more. If the +12V accessory is lost, your radio will not turn on/off automatically and will be a manual process.

Thu, 15 May 2014

The Hyundai ix35 FCEV (pictured) will get graphics from the LCF to promote FCEVs Even though car makers have been playing with the possibility of cars powered by hydrogen for years, it’s only now that an real-world FCEVs are starting to hit the road. Car makers certainly seemed to have made the hydrogen fuel cell a practical proposition for powering cars (although cost is still an obstacle), but that’s just the start of making FCEVs a viable option. Huge amounts of work need to be done to create a hydrogen refuelling network but, perhaps more importantly, car buyers need to understand that FCEVs are viable and that they exist at all.
