Brand new fuel and oil line swap kit for Seadoo two stroke 3 seaters with 587-717 engines. Also comes with stainless steel allen head internal/external carb screws. Everything you need to restore your fuel and oil systems and ensure better reliability and longer life from your Seadoo. Fits: 93-95 GTX, 96 GTI, All years GTS

If you have owned a seadoo for any length of time you know the gray lines destroy carbs and destroy engines, and maybe you have even seen the aftermath of them already (poor throttle response, bogging, eventually resulting in a blown motor). I have included a couple photos of what will inevitably happen to your carbs and filters if you don't change them, and also what often happens to the steel internal screws in the carburetors over time. Anyone who cares about their Seadoo and wants it to last should get rid of the gray fuel lines and the original oil lines ASAP. But it is also smart to clean out the carb filters at the same time, and while your doing that you should really consider changing the screws over to something a little more durable and a little more serviceable.

This kit just gives you all the materials at once and speeds up the process. All this maintenance us relatively easy and does not require a professional.

Fuel lines: Includes USA black 30R7 HBD Thermoid ethanol resistant lines, all pre cut and labeled to make the fuel line swap as painless as possible for you. Includes two different diameters, cut and labeled accordingly so you cant mixed them up. Also included are 15 made in USA Oetiker crimp clamps (OEM), which is more than you need for the entire fuel system (excluding vent lines). 2 of these clamps are smaller than the rest, and are labeled accordingly for the return lines. First step is to install lines on fuel selector and filter cap. From there you will just need to connect 3 lines onto your fuel baffle by matching up the labels on the lines to those on the top of the baffle. Then you will simply route the lines through and connect them to the carb inlet and return, which are also labeled. The carb return will be toward the back of the ski. The lines are measured to fit the machine advertised and cut straight. The Oetiker clamps do a superb job of sealing and preventing leaks, and offer serious durability. Leaks are extremely dangerous on a jet ski, there is a reason bombardier uses these at the factory.

Oil lines: Made in USA Tygon 4040F fuel and oil resistant line. Oetiker made in Germany OEM double pinch clamps. Pre cut for 787 engine, just push lines on and gently crimp clamps and you are done. The oil pumps do not normally fail, the original lines do. If your oil lines still have paint on them, you are on borrowed time, and lubrication failures are never cheap.

Carb screws:  Stainless steel allen head USA made hardware to eliminate corrosion and eliminate stripped fasteners during rebuilds. Includes the following, which is everything needed to replace all fasteners (inside and out) on a dual 787 carb setup.
2- Stainless Seat retaining screw - allen head
2- Stainless lock washer
2-Stainless Needle retaining screw- phillips head
2-Stainless Metering block check valve screw- allen head
2-Stainless Flat washer
4-Stainless Metering block retaining screws - allen head (the factory screws always strip due to a combination of corrosion and their phillips head, but these will have neither issue)
8-Stainless External Cover screw, metering side- allen head (the factory screws are stainless but strip due to phillips head being unable to handle removal torque)
8-Stainless External Cover Screw, fuel pump side - allen head (same as above, get rid of the phillips head). Includes 4 long and 4 short for the non pump side.
8- Stainless Lock Washer
4- Stainless Flat Washer

Give me a call if you have any questions before purchasing or during installation etc, I am happy to help. All this is relatively easy and I have done my best to put this together so that the average person can do this maintenance on their own, without having to pay a dealer, etc. I also can put this kit together for just about all years and models, so just send me a message or give me a call if you need this same kit for a different year and model than I have listed.

McLaren P1 – Driven by Jay Leno at the Top Gear track (video)

Tue, 03 Sep 2013

Jat Leno (pictured) drives the McLaren P1 at the Top Gear track at Dunsfold We reported just a few days ago that the McLaren P1 has all but sold out, and one of those buyers is America’s petrolhead in chief, Jay Leno. Even though Jay isn’t short of a few bob, he’s not going to be the wealthiest buyer of a P1 (by far), but his celebrity status has conferred on him something most P1 buyers won’t get – the chance to take to the Top Gear track at Dunsofold in the new P1 with McLaren’s Chris Goodwin (Chief Test Driver) riding shotgun. Prior to the run round Dunsfold, Jay gets a tour of the new P1 production centre (perhaps the cleanest car production centre in the UK) before being whisked off to Dunsfold by helicopter.

Fans of Enzo Ferrari and the company he founded could finally get the film they have wanted: A film company is getting closer to putting the long-delayed biopic into production, Variety reports. LA-based Cecchi Gori Pictures is said to be in talks with a well-known American director to helm the film, based on a script by Troy Kennedy Martin and David Rayfield. The script and the film project have been in gestation for years, but the project had been plagued by delays.
