Cleaned/rebuilt carbs from 1996 Seadoo SPX with 717 engine. These twin SBN-38 Mikunis are jetted for a 96 SPX or GTI application and set to run without an accelerator pump. They have 130 mains, 67.5 lows, 1.2 Needles, and adjustment screws are set to stock factory settings. They should require no adjustments other than possibly tweaking your idle speed to your liking via the idle stop screw. I have gone through these completely and cleaned everything up, replaced fuel line with new 30R7 HBD thermoid made in USA fuel line, greased all springs/ pivot points/adjustment screws, and replaced any internal components that I decided were in need of replacement with OEM Mikuni parts. The internal fasteners have been converted to stainless allen head fasteners (I sell these kits in my other items, people are very happy with them) to prevent corrosion and make future rebuilds easier. These have also been repainted and clearcoated for additional corrosion protection. But don't just take my word for it, I will guarantee these carbs to give you zero problems after installation and even for the next 3 years (as long as you store your Seadoo properly ***e.g. Fog, fuel stabilizer, dry place, seat off***. Comes with mounting bolts, choke set screws, linkages etc. Essentially, you buy these, put your gaskets underneath and tighten 4 bolts, attach throttle and choke cables, attach feed and return fuel hoses, and ride.
All my parts come from freshwater skis and are in good working condition, unless otherwise noted. I won't sell parts made in China. All my new parts are made in the same country as they were originally produced. Please contact me if there is a certain part you are looking for, as I have parts for several different Seadoos and often times have a good idea of which parts work with which skis. If you save me from having to list an item here on Ebay, I can give you a discount.

Henrik Fisker leaves his eponymous company

Thu, 14 Mar 2013

Henrik Fisker, co-founder of Fisker Automotive, has resigned from the company as Fisker seeks funding to move forward. But Henrik Fisker managed to convince the car world his Fisker Karma was credible, even if its gestation has been plagued by problems,  the latest of which has been the demise of its battery supplier – A123 Systems – and the wrecking of a dock full of seemingly uninsured Karmas by Hurricane Sandy. The current problems at Fisker has seen them seeking a new investor, with two Chinese companies – Geely and Dohnfeng – vying to take a majority stake in Fisker Automotive and help Fisker recover sales of the Karma and move on with Project Nina, the smaller Fisker Atlantic.

New 2014 VW Golf R gets 296bhp – first photos

Wed, 21 Aug 2013

The 2014 Volkswagen Golf R (pictured) revealed ahead of its Frankfurt debut We had expected the new Volkswagen Golf R to debut at Geneva this year, but that debut turned out to be the rather disappointing Mk 6 VW Golf R Cabrio, that not only sacrificed 4WD but came at a silly price (which VW subsequently dropped by more than £5k). But this time there’s no mistake, and the 2014 version of the VW Golf R – complete with 4WD, we’re pleased to say -will arrive next month at the Frankfurt Motor Show before going on sale in early 2014. Under the bonnet the 2.0 litre petrol turbo delivers a healthy 296bhp (300PS) and 280lb/ft of torque which is sent to all four wheels through VW’s latest Haldex 4Motion 4WD, with the ability to decouple the back axle drive under low load conditions and send almost all the power to the back wheels too when demanded.
